Their mobile power sources are smaller gems that have been found and imbibed with energy from the large gem. They can then harness the power from the gem to power their technology. | − | and, also, AGAIN... about the Bermuda triangle, i was watching the history channel and they said/proved/had evidence that huge gas bubbles that rise from deep underwater (I forgot how these bubbles occured; I think it had something to do with underwater volcanoes) can sink ships... even enormous ships. And, the explanation for the downed planes near the Bermuda triangle was that the methane gas released from the bubbles got caught in the planes' engines, and since gas is flammable, well... BOOM! Not saying that you can't have an Atlantian naval base be the reason for this, but I just thought that this was interesting and you might want to know.

Their secondary weapon is some kind of Submachine-gun, or SMG. Again, tell me if you don't know what that is and I'll explain later.

| − | Ookay, these Royal Guard dudes are, duh, royal guards. They protect the palace and other important areas on Atlantis and are the most skilled of warriors. Sometimes they're deployed for battle, in which case they trade out their usual weapons for a Medium Machine Gun, or MMG. Heavy Machine Guns (HMGs) are too heavy to be carried by a person and so are mounted on vehicles and such. As it is, MMGs usually are used by two people, but these Royal Guards will be the exception cause they're awesome. Also, people, PLEASE make sure to read my previous entries cause I'm pretty sure no one has yet.

What that means is that in the first book, ''Phoenix Rising'', the book would be told mainly from the perspective of Scar (Emma). In the second book, ''Harvest Reaper'', the book would be told mainly from the perspective of Holly (Wellie). In the third book, not yet named, It'd be from Matt's (mine obviously) perspective. Problem is, I know nothing about writing from the perspective of a girl.

Well, he just happened to make earthquakes as well, which would signify geokinesis. So I got to thinking, what if the original water controller is also the original Geo-controller? And the only mythic creature I could come up with for this was the Kraken, or Kracken. For the original air controller... come on, you can guess, yes, the phoenix. The phoenix will be the orignial controller (OC from now on) of fire ''and'' air.

1) Atlantis city is surrounded by agriculture fields that supply food to the city center. Fields have access canals between and are submerged to different depths depending on the food grown there. (ex: the rice fields are partly submerged in the freshwater canals).
2) According to Plato, Poseidon received Atlantis as his share of the world. The island had tall cliffs that rose from the sea and the lands were rich and fertile. Every six years the king, his council, and the judges met in the temple of poseidon to discuss matters of great importance.
3) Noah's Ark is an Atlantian ship that survived the comet and carried animals and people to safety.
4) City of Jericho is surviving Atlantian town that had been rebuilt by Atlantian survivors. Atlantian survivors moved to Egypt, Crete, Thera, England, Canaan, etc.
5) Armadillo Mk. III, IV, and V have jet-ports wired to hardened points on the armor. These jets can assist the user's jumping height and distance, as well as cushion a landing, angle the direction of descent from a parachute, etc. The jets also can function to propel the user through and under water, and through space (Full-Helmet and vacuum-sealed joints required for space combat)
6) Military uses V-22 Ospreys as main assault transport. Armament includes two pod-mounted swiveling 40mm nose cannon, a .50 cal repeater chin gun, and two pods of 4 rockets each.
7) XV-22 Ospreys (Spec-Ops) can be converted into mobile outposts for 20 soldiers, with two ARMs and a CGT plus extra equipment. Multiple Ospreys can be linked together to form a fully operational base. The more, the merrier. XV-22 Ospreys also equipped with an anti-material railgun in place of .50 cal chin gun.
8) Military designs sonic scramblers that repel dinosaurs or animals with a wave of extremely intense sonic frequencies. Scramblers installed in bases, V-22s, and most vehicles. Also has a sonar counterpart for use in water. Note that the scramblers do not kill or injure dinos, only irritate and repel. A determined or trained dinosaur can still attack, and frequencies are too high for all humans to hear, except for Echo and Orca squads.
9) Military uses packs of "Performance-Enhancing-Liquid" that functions as a combination painkiller, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, accelerated regenerative agent, similar to Fallout 3's "Stimpacks." Packs are injected through armor ports directly into the afflicted areas.
10) Marine Shock Forces defend NYC in one chapter. They set up CGTs in intersections, use subway for troop transportation, Sniper and MG nests on roofs. They use hotels as bases, hotwire cars abandoned on the street, set up floating mines and air patrols in rivers and harbor, blow bridges and set razor wire on beaches.
11) Europe unifies into he United States of Europe and has their own president, etc. UK not included in USE, but allied with USA.
12) Atlantis Rising: Perfect War: Similar to Bioshock, main character is part of a Spec-Ops team transporting Putty material to USA safehouse/Research lab when they are shot down over Atlantian rain forest. Player starts out with MP7 SMG and Magnum, teams up with other survivors, finds helmet, and links up with survivors at the actual crash site (Player is sucked out the back without weapon or helmet and backup comm is busted.) The survivors use Putty to genetically enhance themselves and survive and get back to the nearest Allied outpost.
13) Armadillo Recon Armor has insulated gauntlets that can send an electric pulse to stun and incapacitate enemies.
14) China, Japan, and North Korea combine to form the Eastern Confederation, joined by the Pacific island countries around Japan.

16) Standard infantry equipped with Mk. III, IV, or V Croc Tactical Battle Armor (Depending on the year of battle). Croc armor is comprised of an outer bullet-proof shell with Static-Impact-Gel layered in the middle that converts kinetic energy to thermal. Helmet includes integrated HUD, FOF, GUSS, comm. system, armor- and bio-stat monitors, climate conditioning system. Armor is powered by a fusion cell. Armaments include an M8 carbine, and MP7 SMG, and an HK Magunm that fires semi-explosive 12.7mm slugs, ideal for light armor and dinosaurs.
17) USA and Allies take over the ISS and install a compartment built to house up to 90 marines, known as Orbital Drop Marines or Devil Droppers. The ODMs are highly skilled and trained and can land anywhere on Earth within an hours.
18) Putty is a substance of raw stem cells that can be surgically altered and grafted to soldiers in order to heal various injuries and biologically augment their bodies.
19) USA helmet armor has increased gel padding and increased armor thickness in brow plate, sides, and back in order to protect against cranial trauma.
20) DGTs - Defensive Guard Towers. Can be crewed by up to 12 infantry, used in conjunction with Metal Storms, bunkers, trenches, and sensor arrays to secure small camp perimeters. Larger firebases have solid concrete-and-steel walls installed at perimeter, with bunkers on top and Metal Storms and 105mm and 40mm cannon installed directly into the walls.
21) USA soldiers undergo varied biomechanical and chemical surgical correction upon induction via the grafting of raw stem cells. Surgery is used to completely heal all new recruits of all illnesses and physical damage, boost the soldier's immune system, correct the spinal column, as well as regrow lost cartilage and repair crucial bodily structures such as the knees, neck, feet, shoulders, etc. Also increases the strength of all organs, tissues, bones, and overall body. Select soldiers also receive extended enhancement to boost seeing hearing, etc.
22) Atlantian soldiers equipped with .57 cal 7-shot revolving rifles as base firearm. To break down doors, crack ships, etc, they use a 7-barreled semi-explosive volley gun firing 12.9mm rounds. Infantry also equipped with a 10-inch bayonet, a standard legionary double-edged straight sword, a 12-shot revolver pistol, and 2 flasks of Greek Fire.
23) After first beach-landing battle scene, the US adopts new technology and equipment: More extensive base-camp defenses (See #20) and 7.62mm MGs and 40mm repeating cannon linked to sensor arrays scattered throughout jungle. Also use new M8's fitted with integrated bayonets, and XM350 dual-shot 40mm grenade launchers, enhanced and thicker armor plating with larger gel bladders to better protect against melee weaponry, and infantry given titanium composite sabers, maces, spears, axes, etc.
24) Atlantians use winged gliders that they can attach to their armor, akin to angels' wings. Atlantian aircraft use rocket-powered propulsion, and their diving suits were mistook by early humans for aliens.
25) Nazca desert was Atlantian's priority raw-material site outside of mainland Atlantis, as Nazca desert has concentrated quantities of many raw materials. Nazca pathways - airfield for Atlantian aircraft.
26) Egyptian, Babylonian, Mayan, etc pyramids all built with Atlantian help in order to store knowledge and to house king's tombs and for defense.
27) Earth destroyed 4 times - Water: Noah's flood. Ice: Ice Age. Fire: Thera Eruption. Air: Yucatan ash cloud.
28) Atlantians used "Baghdad Batteries" powered by concentrated electrolytes in order to power lightbulbs, ancient computers, etc. Also invented astrogation device, where navigator could input the location of stars in order to determine latitude and longitude (Antikythera Mechanism).
29) Stonehenge's circles align with planetary orbitation around the sun. USA has glider packs that can be fitted into standard armor thruster pack. Glider packs have wings with several fuel tanks for extended jet-powered flight.
30) Atlantians invent Da Vinci's 33 barreled organ gun for base defense, and use his tri-barrel cannon in his armored car invention. Atlantians also use his under-water breathing apparatus with the modification of the tubes being connected to a compressed air tank on the diver's back.
31) Atlantian APC aerial screw helicopter can lift 8 men and uses steam generated from the hot coals in the base of the machine to turn an axle, which is increased in force by a complex gearing system. The axle turns the screw, generating lift. Additional gears allow passengers to pedal, increasing lift at takeoff and landing. Helicopter can fly for up to an hour before water supply has to be refilled.
