Diary Entry 2: Flood At Cheyenne Crossing
Dear diary,
The trip to Oregon was harder than I thought. Someone in our wagon train got a broken leg from being run over, and I think died. Previously, we went to prairie wells the once free water was ten dolars a barel, and gaurded by armed gaurds! Now there are massive floods, creating mud holes that swallow up our wagons! The trail is mudy and slippery, somtimes we fall down and hit our heads on the wagon! now we are crossing the Cheyenne river, it was once a peaceful calm river, now to be a raging Nightmeare! I suspect someone may drownd since we barely know how to swim! I suspect to find many road blocks along the trail. The trip will be harder than the daydreams people have. I think the trip will be very very hard.
