Washington D.C. 2011

Robert groaned as the gas tank counter went up. This was the cheapest gas in the county. Ever since the terrorists gained control of the oil, gas became scarce and expensive, because America had refused to trade with them. Not a single Hummer had been seen in months. After the counter reached an ungodly amount of money, he swiped his $500 Visa gift card into the tank. Little more than $410 was left. Almost three years had passed since Obama had taken office. The Global Recession hadn't gotten much better. He never thought he'd see the day when people wept for George Bush.Robert swept the sweat off his forehead on the way to his apartment. He had turned the air conditioner off and closed the car's windows to save gas. It would be a hard summer indeed.

Somewhere along the main gas pipeline 2011

Muhammad grinned and stroked his beard as the operation was about to be launched. The netting above them was about the best camouflage possible. It was literally a scale image of the ground below it, an image without all the hi-tech equipment, guns, and terrorists. Any planes or satellites would be easily fooled. Under the tarp was the main gas pipeline. After hard shoveling for hours, they finally hit the pipe. After opening up the pipe, they poured buckets full of tiny probes that could remotely detonate destroying everything on the pipeline. They ran from under the tarp and used it to cover up any traces of digging from the satellites. Muhammad's fellow friends told him he had 30 seconds until the next satellite picture was taken. dashing under the tree's cover, Muhammad wore a grin on his face. Not only did he just destroy a few American air fields with opposing air support, he had practically just convinced America to buy oil from them. Large fireworks would be seen that night.

Washington D.C. 2011, 24 hours earlier

When Robert got home he was exhausted from a hard day at work. He had just spent about $100 at a gas pump. Tomorrow, he would be going on a business trip to Hawaii. He slept that night dreaming of warm water and soft sandy beaches.

Beep! Beep! Beep! Robert almost hit the alarm clock so hard he was lucky it wasn't pulverized. Thankfully, his flight was at 8:00 p.m. Unfortunately, he had left his alarm clock on. He had twelve hours until his flight.

7:00 pm at the air port

Robert put all his non-carry-on luggage on the conveyor belt. He took the rest with him. By the time he got through security and got to his gate, it was already 7:45. He would have to wait a few minutes. Robert pulled out a newspaper.

8:00 somewhere along the main gas pipeline

Muhammad grinned broadly. He held a remote control in his hands. When he pressed the BIG RED BUTTON the pipeline and everything on it would be incinerated, so to speak. His thumb tightened around the button. "Don't do it yet" the man next to him said. "Wait until the probes get toward D.C. They already were. Muhammad pressed the button.
