Hi Gals,
May 5th - Glad that Stacie realized the 5th is a conflict. I had forgotten, since I wasn't going to be able to attend anyway, that the Dittlau's had sent out an evite -- like a month ago -- for a Kentucky Derby party that included Stacie and Terry, the Jordons, us, and others.
Since it's an adult-only party, I had told Tricia when the evite first went out that I would most likely NOT be able to attend what with Bobby being out of town camping with Brandon and that May is our insane month.
May 12th - Sounds like that is the only date available and that wouldn't conflict with something the Gornets had already been invited to. I say, carry on without me. That's a tough day for me since it's our last soccer game 10:30-12:00, traditionally followed by awards ceremony and pizza for the team at our house 12:30-3:00. Then Katie has her dance recital that evening. Still, if we do something in the late afternoon at the courts/pool, I could see the Krupczaks being able to come for a little while After soccer, and Before Katie's recital. The month of May just sucks.
I know swim team has their first practice on Monday May 14th, so maybe the pool will be open on the 12th?

Cheryl and Marie - I really want to throw a going away party for Stacie and Terry. I know their "street" is throwing them a party - but they have so many friend through tennis that aren't invited to that (like me!) . So - I thought we should have a tennis friends party.
It looks like they have May 5th (and the 12th) open before they leave for good at the end of May. I'd hope to keep it simple - but make it a blast. Stacie liked the idea of a party by the courts and or pool. If it's May 5th - that's Cinco de Mayo and would be a blast.
Would either of you be interested in co-hosting with me? She had mentioned that at different points in time, that both of you have talked about the same kind of thing.

I think 5th sounds great, we could even use that outdoor kitchen area and do round robins at the courts earlier after playoff matfches are finished of course and then pool it and hang out!! If we separated the party from the pool area and used that grill kitchen area we could even do a margarita machine!!! Just an idea!! HAHA!
